The Cappadocian Greek word αγκανάς
Word αγκανάς
a ɟ k a n a ς
IPA aɟkanaς
Meaning chisel
See also Sanskrit: vighana ‘hammer’
Hurrian: agūrni ‘chiseling, engraving’
Proto-Indo-European: *anĝh- ‘narrow, press’

Comments
The Indo-European root of the word had been suggested before the Hurrian word was known. Obviously, aganas is much more closer to agurni which means literarly 'chiseling'.
