The word appears rarely in texts, notably in Aristophanes. "Κίττα, τρυγών, κορυδός, ἐλεᾶς, ὑποθυμίς, περιστερά, νέρτος, ἱέραξ, φάττα, κόκκυξ, ἐρυθρόπους, κεβλήπυρις" Just like κεβλήγονος, its origin is problematic (suspected Macedonian). |
